 Once
again Dick Mahoney had another strong
week with the Southern Ontario
Sprints. The 10th Anniversary
Season Tour for the SOS took to the
1/3 mile clay oval in Brighton,
Ontario.
Dick
had a solid night finishing 3rd in his
heat and scoring a fifth place in the
21 lap feature. Rick Wilson went
on to win the race over current SOS
point leader Adam West. For
Mahoney it marked his fourth top five
of the season and his ninth top ten in
the first twelve races.
Dick
is once again third in the overall
driver standings just 74 markers back
of second place Glenn Styres and 247
points behind leader Adam West.
Dick and the rest of the Southern
Ontario Sprints teams will be headed
next to the Ohsweken Speedway on
Friday August 12th for round 13 of the
16 race season. |
