 Dick
Mahoney and the 79 team will be
attacking the 2005 season with a full
head of steam. During the off-season
it was announced that Dick has
purchased a Maxim kit from 2003 URC
Champion and former Pennsylvania 410
star Dave Ely.
In
addition to the new ride comes the
unveiling of the all new Dick Mahoney
Online.
2004 was a rough season for the
Newmarket, Ontario native. The teams
primary car was destroyed just three
races into the season at the Ohsweken
Speedway on May 28th. Competing for
the majority of the season with his
backup car "Lefty", Dick
managed to finish 8th in the final
tour standings.
Once again Dick will be competing full
time with the Southern Ontario Sprints
and will make various other starts
with local 360 sprint clubs.
